Every sprinkle, every detail—it’s all part of the story. β¨β

For the Henrietta project, we focused on capturing moments that speak to the soul of the brand. This isn’t just about cookies; it’s about the rhythm of baking, the anticipation of that first bite, and the connection we feel through food. πͺπ§β
β
Storytelling through photography doesn’t just elevate your brand—it creates an experience your audience can taste before they’ve even taken a bite.β

What story does your brand want to tell? Let’s bring it to life!β

When it comes to capturing the perfect bite, it's all about the details. πβ¨β
β
The sugar-dusting, the luscious berry filling, the soft, pillowy texture—it’s these little moments that make food irresistible. Details like these don’t just make you look, they make you want to taste. ππ© β

Can we normalize coffee and donuts with the ones we love the most? βπ€ Because sometimes, it’s the simplest indulgences—like a flaky, creamy bite (like this one from @sluyspoulsbobakery )shared with good company—that create the sweetest moments. Here’s to savoring the texture, the taste, and the time together. β¨ #CoffeeAndDonuts #FoodPhotography #BKPβ

Baking sourdough bread could possibly be the oldest labor of love. It was only fitting to have chef Joya come stretch some dough to capture the textures and process. #henrietta
Henrietta challenged me to create imagery to represent strength, perseverance and finding our rhythm as we rise and fall through life.
I can hear the crackle when I look at this shot. We found so many perfect details in this sourdough loaf by @raquels_farmstand
It's amazing to see what is revealed with a bigger, brighter and stronger light source. Henrietta celebrates the art and science of sourdough with a brand inspired by the legacy of Henrietta Lacks. Design by (and hats off to) branding genius, @studebakerdesignco
π A recent project with @Studebakerdesignco lead me into a sourdough deep dive where I went around to a few amazing local bakers to find the good stuff. This loaf of sour dough bread from @oxaliskitchen didn't last long after the shot. π€€
So true especially this time of year. What food makes you feel the most love and comfort? I'd have to go with one of my Mom's soups or a slow cooked tri tip over a BIG pile of mashed potatoes.
I've taken a lot of chef portraits over the years. This one immediately made the top 3 π It was a plate of John Delp's oysters at Mossback that put me on the map as a food photographer years ago and I'll always be grateful for his trust and his talent.
Good food photography isn’t just a luxury—it's one of the most impactful investments you can make to boost your restaurant or food brand. In a world where first impressions happen online, eye-catching images are what draw people in and make them crave your dishes. Great photography captures the essence of your food, the details that make it special, and the story behind every bite. It turns scrolling into a desire to visit.β
β
When your dishes look as good as they taste, customers can’t help but want to experience them for themselves. High-quality visuals build trust, set you apart from the competition, and keep your audience coming back for more. πΈβ¨β
