To be fed is to be loved

Hi, I’m Brittany—a food photographer based in the Seattle area, serving clients across Washington and beyond.

I’ve always believed that food carries feeling. It doesn’t have to be fancy—it just has to be honest. My best memories are wrapped around a table with people I love, and that’s what drives me to create. I’m not just here to take a pretty photo of a plated dish. I want to capture the moment the caramel hits the ice cream, the flicker of movement, the tension, the light—because that’s where the emotion lives. Through food photography, I get to help people feel seen and understood, and give visual language to why they do what they do.

These days, I photograph for local Seattle restaurants, farms, and food artisans, as well as national and international brands. Whether I’m shooting a cozy neighborhood café or a full-scale commercial campaign, my goal is the same: to create images that feel alive, honest, and rooted in connection.

When I’m not behind the camera, I’m usually outside—either hiking or chasing my son through the woods on his mountain bike. I’m also a big believer in the magic of Reese’s Big Cups and Portland Ketchup. (Not together though.)

I create imagery for food and beverage industry brands, in order to tell their story, connect with their audience, and take their marketing efforts to the next level. The goal of high quality imagery is to inspire your audience and connect them to your story. The photos I capture set brands up to think bigger and grow into their next opportunity.

There are a thousand choices to make to capture what it is that sets your brand apart. From the big picture to the tiny details it all matters in getting you to the next level.

The connection we feel when we are fed is more about the person creating it than the food itself. Good food photography should capture the story behind the food as much as the drool worthy qualities of the food. The goal of high quality imagery is to inspire your audience and connect them to your story.
